A car is merely a tool used by others to get from one's position to its destination with minimum effort. However, the passion behind each engineering marvel is often left unnoticed and more often left unappreciated. In this website I will share with you my collection of car diecast models and how it has progressed into my current car selections and how this will determine my future career.
Driven by Sean Boswell in 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, it is featured in the opening scene where Sean races Clay's Dodge Viper GT in a bid to win over Cindy. The longevity of this vehicle is however shortlived as Sean totals the car by crashing into a half pipe as a final attempt to overtake Clay turns into a deadly accident.
This 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R was all the craze when it first premiered in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious. Driven by Brian O'Connor, it is most memorable in the scene where Brian jumps across a swing bridge and overtakes another vehicle mid-air. The vehicle however was retired when Brian realized his vehicle has been bugged by the police.
Driven by Sean Boswell in the same 2006 The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift movie, it is featured when Sean's garaged was infiltrated by local police, and all their cars were impounded, leaving Sean no choice but to build up his dad's old Ford Mustang body with a new internal engine. The vehicle then went on to win the final race against D.K.
Driven by Brian O'Connor in the later part of 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious, Brian was able to get his hands on this vehicle after racing some local street racers for pinkslips in an attempt to ditch his existing car that has been bugged by the police. The most notable scene this vehicle was in was when Brian jumped this vehicle from a ramp on the bank of a river into the antagonist's boat in order to rescue his partner.
First appearing in 2011's Fast Five, it marks the first time that Fast and Furious has introduced a luxury sports car into its lineup of cars. Prior to this introduction, characters in the movie were strictly using modified tuners which represent the underground street racing scene. However, sports car soon entered the scene and they were here to stay.
A 2017 Ford GT was what that caught many eye when Mia Toretto drove it to break her brother Dominic out from prison by scheduling a prison bus heist. The car was totaled during the heist and never to be seen again, only reappearing after 5 installations of The Fast and The Furious, marking its return during the scene where supercars lined up in front of Dubai's Burf Khalifa hotel.
As a child, I had always fantasized about driving in real life, often mimicking the movements of a racecar driver in my father's parked vehicle. When I first turn 17, the first thing that I did was to register for my driver's license. When I was a child, i was always busy playing with my toy cars, now that I've grown up, my toy cars just became way more expensive.
A 2013 Peugeot 508, a reward for my 2 years of numerous part time jobs over weekends. When I first got to Australia, I was psyched about travelling around the whole continent, in search of wonderful scenery and also scrumtpious food. My most memorable memories of Australia were all thanks to this vehicle. A 12 hour drive down to Sydney just to catch the New Year's Eve fireworks, A 14 hour ferry ride to visit Tasmania. Driving up to Mount Buller hoping to catch a glimpse of snow for the first time in my life. All these memories were made possible with the help of this wonderful car.
A 2017 BMW 530i, I was given this car as a hand-me-down from my father who had gotten bored of driving this car, and wanted me to use this as an oppurtunity to really understand what makes a BMW so great. With my limited but fruitful experience with this vehicle, I can safely say that I now understand why people spend crazy amounts of money to buy such a vehicle. The refineness and attentiveness to detail is compared to very few and truly offers the joy of driving.
After going through the stories that I had and also created with each object, it is sentimental to see how a person has been so thorougly connected to cars all his life. Being able to have the chance to enjoy this wonderful creation is has had me grateful everytime I step into another one of these wonderful machines. With the passions and skills that I possess, I hope that someday I can influence someone to be able to mesmerize and appreciate these cars the way I do, and to truly represent what these amazing machinese are truly built for.
